Poured from 650mL bottle. Drip coffee and rye malt, works well enough together, but leaves much to be desired.

Good clear medium copper body and okay foam. Aroma is okay coffee, a bit of caramel. Taste is sweet coffee, lager hops, working well enough together. Ends smooth with lingering sweetness. It's drinkable, executed well enough for something like this.

On tap at Barnside, pours a clear amber orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is very spicy, with lots of earthy, spicy rye, caramel, and plenty of coffee. Flavour is spicy and earthy, with a very earthy coffee ground character, cinnamon sticks, and bready caramel. Medium residual sweetness. Somehow everything works cohesively, though it isn't a tremendously exciting beer. Okay.
