A big malty Doppelbock aged for 6 months in whiskey barrels from our friends at Okanagan Spirits. Tons of sweet caramel and malty notes, blended with vanilla and barrel flavors and a great layer of whiskey.

Golden brown colour. Big whiskey, obviously the Okanagan Spirits one. It’s all I smell. And taste. Holy shit, i mean there’s booze and some malt stickiness underneath but this is all whiskey. Even more one dimensional than the impy that Copper put in OS barrels last year.

Deep rubyish clear copper body and modest foam. Heavy plum and wood aroma, slightly boozy, not overbearing though. Taste is a malty plum, soft wood grain, finishing smooth and dry with only a bit of alcohol. It still feels a little clumsy, but is trending in the right direction.
