Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt, caramel and raisin in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly roasty vinous flavor. Decent.

Bottle @ home. Unclear red to red-brown color, average sized beige head that lasts for a short while. Aroma is malts, lightly sweet, raisins, blue grapes. Taste malts, caramel, malt bitter, grapepeel bitter, raisins. The heavy and quite sharp bitterness I definitely did not expect. A bit too much for me to like it.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Slijterij, Borger. Hazy dark brown with a dense beige head. Malty aroma with some raisins. Taste is sweet with some roasted malts in the background and some port notes. Very solid doppelbock.

Sweet malty nose. Medium to deep amber colour, tall thick creamy beige head, half-way lasting, heavy lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel, liquorice, sugar syrup, dark fruits. Smooth taste, light heavy sweet and medium bitter, malty, sugary, dried dark fruit, light chocolate. Malty sweetbitter finish, chocolate notes, alcohol medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation. Tasty but especially in the aftertaste a rather coarse bock.

Labelled as a "Special Edition" with 8% alc. Dark brown with thin, lacy head. Aroma has some floral notes and hay, perhaps some wild yeast too. Flavour has a pleasant sweetness up front. Yeasty, bitter finish.
