Choccomite combines two wonderful flavours into a deliciously decadent dessert stout. A complex mix of malts creates a luxurious body with chocolate brownie undertones. To this we add candi sugar, vegetable extract, cacao nibs and salt, balancing sweet and savoury in this mighty brew.

Can, Milkhead. Brewed somewhere in Australia but I can't read the white text on the yellow background that looks — by remarkable coincidence — just like a jar of of Vegemite. Very dark brown with a quickly fading tan head. Aroma of strongish roasted malt, chocolate, Vegemite. Bittersweet, roasty, umami, salty. Chocolate yes, brownie not so much. There's a fashion for upping the salt content of desserts to where it's a feature, and this does just that. Not bad at all.
