Bottle from Systembolaget. Black with a large tan head. Sweetish with roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and licorice. Also some hints of cherries in the finish. The body was almost full.

330ml bottle from Alko. Gusher alert. Pours pitch black with a massive large foamy brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, tobacco, ash, leather, coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is roasty, burnt and slightly leathery with some tobacco, ash, dark chocolate, earthiness and wood. Finish is heavily roasty and burnt with some tobacco, ash and coffee. Heavy, roasty and burnt imperial stout.

Smell of coffee, chocolate. Black colour, very high dark brown head. Aroma of coffee, cocoa, chocolate. Some tar in finish. Bitter, sweet. Soft, plentiful carbon. Viscous palate. Very good.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Black with minimal head. Rich aroma of tobacco, salmiak and chocolate. Mid sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel, very low carbonation. Licorice and salty treacle. Spun sugar dominates the mildly warming finish.

(330ml bottle from Systembolaget) Pours black with a massive, slow-fading Belgian style pale tan head, lots of lace. Aroma of sweeter dark malt, molasses, burnt grains, coffee, soy, Flavour is a bit rough, heavily roasted and ashy dark malts, burnt coffee, a little raw sugar and dark fruit, bittering hops, Semi-sweet to start, bone dry on the finish Maybe a bit oxidized, a cardboard and tinny undertone to the burnt/ashy fairly bitter back end. Bit of alcohol despite the low ABV. Feels fairly light bodied and a bit watery, medium low carbonation. Has the De Molen big dry burnt roast but without the heft their beers have to support it.
