Opaque black colour, thick brownish head, lace. Roasted, cofffeish aroma. Medium to full-bodied. Smooth palate. Coffeish, roasted flavour. Simplish but solid impy with the obvious De Molen fingerprints. Maybe a bit too simple for being really top gun.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 30.05.2028, from Alko, 20171013) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, liquorice and ash. Palate was full bodied with medium low carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, chocolate, ash, coffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A flat brew with nice taste.

33cl bottle from Alko. Poured black color with a thin brown head. Sweet, molasses, roasted malt, licorice in aroma. Flavor has sweetness, molasses, soy sauce. Too sweet for me.

Bottle. A black beer without head. Aroma has liquorice, salt liquorice, sweetness, some strenght of alcohol with hint of barrel. Taste has liquorice, richness of malts, roastiness, some sweetness of riped fruits. Almost full bodied, no carbonation that's is annoying. Decent.

Deep dark color with a tan head. Fine intensity in the aroma. Medium to full body and a smooth carbonation level. Decent sweetness. Fruity, toffee, earth and dark malt. Nice tasty evening sipper.

Svart med fingerhøyt mochafarget skum. Lukter søt lakris, solbær, mørk kaffe, mørk sjokolade og vanilje. Fyldig. Kakaopulver, mørk sjokolade, tørket frukt, salt lakris oh havre.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Stas. Black with nice tan foam. Great deep aroma of dark chocolate, roast, coffee. Sweet flavor with chocolate, roast, coffee, a bit of bitterness. Medium to full-bodied, rounded mouthfeel. Really good.
