Small yellow head over veiled orangeish amber beer. Herbs and malts. The latter slightly toasted, partly cookie malt. Sweetish, candi sugar. Bit fruity esters, as peach and pear, fruitdrops. Bitter first oral impression, herbal and hoppy. Malts underneath strong enough, bready. Bit peppery finish and aftertaste. Unfortunately, bitterness is a bit crude, leafy. Medium bodied at best, thinnish finish, acquiring an almondy streak. Good carbonation. There's plenty Spéciale Belges with more refinement. Still, not bad. Thanks to Stef!
