For the past two years, we've been making a fruited blend with Camerise in small quantities. Also known as haskap or blue honeysuckle, these berries are slightly sweet with a beautiful acidity.
The beer's color is a deep, deep red. It's powerful and very fruit-forward, but still maintains a nice, mellow balance between acidity and astringency.
We didn't have to look very far for a its new name... a blue fruit that makes a blood-red beer: Sang Bleu. Our friend Ammo has outdone himself once again, creating a superb new label to go with its new name.

Deep red colour and no head. Deep earthy cherry in the nose. Medium-bodied. Dry cherry, woodish, light tartness. Cherryish aftertaste. Good. ZincFest26.
