330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge. Decent, bubbly, tan head, jet black in the glass, crocheted lacing. Plain roasted chocolate malty nose, earthy. Blend of brown and black malts to the taste character, slightly ashy. Well roasted ending, smooth and rather sweet. Nightcap qualities. (Hotel room, Oslo 19.04.2023).

330ml bottle. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma is extremely roasty, you could swear they added coffee to this one, dark chocolate too, feeling like this is gonna be a big bitter bastard. Taste is indeed, that of a big bitter bastard, tonnes of roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, very strong bitterness throughout, slightly nutty, biscuity. Full bodied.

Black beer, thick brown head. Loads of toasty malt. Flavour follows suit. Toasty malt, dark chocolate, a little nuttiness and anise. Straightforward but very tasty impy stout
