Last year we used 7 different techniques of adding hops to the IDAHO-7x7 which gave their own unique mark on the beer. We had so much fun engineering and creating it, we figured we should do a series of beers where we use the 7 techniques but use different hops to showcase. The first taking the stage is Azacca. This hop has a bright and refreshing aroma with juicy mango, tropical fruits, and citrus. Due to its high content of alpha acid this hop creates a good amount of bitterness in this beer. Discover the full potential of Azacca, cheers!

Can at home, batch 2. Nose is slightly floral, tropical fruity, somewhat grassy hops. Taste is candy, stone fruits, some grasd. Light bodied but not thin, drinks well below the ABV, the carbonation is soft. Nice little pale ale-ish hoppy beer, but not big or intense enough for a DIPA.

Can (from Alko Web). Hazy yellow colour, mediumsized foamy white foamy head, which leaves nice lace. Aroma is citrus, pineapple, mild floral, oaty and some slight herbal tones to it. Flavour is floral, some fruity, some mild wooden and mild earthy tones. Sweetish nectary finish and aftertaste.

Can bit pas best before date. Bit hazy golden. Weedy and spicy hops, lime zest, spruce, quite resinous and oily. Oats, soft alcohol and nice sweetness but way less than most other Moersleutel IPAs. Not bad at all, even though it’s quite old.

High quality beer in the style. The hop shines through and is perfectly balanced bitterness and aroma with a chewy thick body. Moersleutel guild box

Can from The Guild, canning date 28/11-2022. A bit old for sending this to loyal members I think... Hazy yellow with fairly large, white head. Mango, grains, some caramel, some sticky glue in the taste. Feels slightly old school.
