3040 TIPA is a massive beast of a west coast triple IPA. Massivly kettle and triple dry hopped with fresh Amarillo, Centennial and Simcoe. Utilizing new groundbreaking hopping techniques, 3040 is a modern interpretation of a classic style bursting with hop flavour and an unapologetic bitterness. Enjoy with friends.

Can, at Skur 4. It's almost clear in the glass, golden in color, with a dense, finger-thick white head. It's mostly citrusy and fruity on the nose, some piney and grassy notes, with a nice sweetish maltyness. Well hidden alcohol. Warming on the palate though, nicely carbonated and full-bodied, with a good bitterness. Pale malts and malty sweetness in the back, with generic fruityness, citrus zest, pine cones and a touch of grass and flower in the flavor. Some notes of alcohol. Lasting hop driven finish with a good underlying maltyness and some alcohol warmth. A dangerous and delicious beer, well worth a revisit or three. 220625

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Patchy white head over a clear amber body, upper part lacing on the glass. Inviting dried fruity nose, apricot to the fore. Apricot and ripe orange flavours followed by a dry and smooth bitter tail with warmth from the alcohol. Well bodied. Decent sipper. (Tromsø 28.06.2022).

Gylden. Klar. Middels høyt tett skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Ferskenaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken tørket frukt. Tørr fruktig bitter avslutning.
