Inviting smell of citrus, grapefruit to the fore. Grapefruit and mandarin to the taste profile followed by a rounded ending of citrus peels. Pretty good. Thin rocky off white head left a cover on a caramel coloured still body. Minimal malt aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a cloying back. Bitter tangy tastes with spices, tea, malt & sweet berries. Tasty.

23/4/2020. Sample courtesy of the SHIG, cheers! Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy and grassy, malt, grapefruit and straw. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Slight dryness to finish. Quite nicely done, just about the best I’ve had from this brewery.

Bottle: Poured a orange with whispering white head. Aroma is perfume and malts. Taste is rugged hops, bitter with a light malt backbone.

Cask at the Kings Head, Norwich, 20/11/16. Clear golden amber with a decent off white head. Nose is orange peel, straw, soft bread, peach. Taste comprises citric sherbets, soft bread, toasted grains, airy malts, lemon drizzle, orange pith. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop rinse. Decent enough hoppy cask affair.
