Superficial festival rating at Brew Festival, Oslo 2022. Saturday session 2. Black body under a small, lacing brown head. Aroma has dark malt, dry fruit, wood and alcohol in a very pleasant way. Taste is sweet, dark malt, mild, wood, vanilla, dry fruit, caramel and warming alcohol. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Nice, tasty and super smooth even at 13,5% and doesn’t feel to sweet either.

Brew Festival 2022. Black color with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, alcohol, licorice, caramel. Flavor is roasted, burnt malt, mocha, sugar, licorice, alcohol, caramel, chocolate, coffee. Delicious beer.

On tap at Brew Festival. A black one, topped by a finger-thick dark tan head. Some curtains. The aroma has lots of chocolate, feels quite sweetish, with caramel sauce, some roasted malts and a light burnt touch with some ashtray hints. It’s smooth and lightly warming on the palate, full-bodied, soft and lightly sticky. Sweet flavor with dark chocolate, caramel sauce and a nice boozyness that doesn’t feel too boozy, just pleasant. Some roasted malts and coffee too. Lasting finish. A delicious and sweet beer made for sharing. 220430

Bottle, 750 ml. Shared with Miro, Max and Miro B. Black with tan head. Chocolate, cocoa, coffee, bit of dried fruit, some brandy, sweet with nice bitter finish. Dense and oily. Warming. Some alcohol. Low carbonation. Medium to full bodied. Nice one.
