Still the best beer in the Hopfen Weisse series. Unfortunately the Galaxy hops have not been available for us the last two years. It is still unknown when our Galaxy Hopfen Weisse will return.

Swing top bottle. Pale amber color. Pineapple, wheat, mango in the aroma. Lemon flavor with grassy hops. A firm earthy bitterness that lingers on in the aftertaste. Well made beer.

1000ml bottle [Fles #384]. Hazy, orangey golden colour with huge, firm, frothy, continously reinforced, off-white head. Intense hoppy aroma, floral, herbal, spicy, a touch of grapefruit, cautious banana background. Taste is bitter hoppy, floral, herbal and spicy, subtle wheat malt sweetness with cautious banana touch; minimally phenolic finish. A real Galaxy hop bomb; the hop flavoures disguise almost all weaknesses of the pure/basic ’Versnijder’ - but to reach its idol/ideal ’Schneider Meine Hopfenweisse’ the basic Weizenbock recipe needs improvement.

Bottled @ Camping Ratebeers 2014, small sample. Slight hazy golden color, short head. Aroma of pineapple, slight citrus, slight grainy. More towards hopfen than towards weisse. Ok beer though.

Bottle shared @ Camping Ratebeer. Hazy orange color, small off-white to beige head. Smell and taste wheat, decently hoppy, a bit yeasty, and surprisingly nice bitter. Medium body and carbonation.

Has a really fruity aroma that reminds me of a market stall. The flavour is also fruity and sweet with a bitter finish. Very well balanced beer.
