Cask at Alexandra, Derby Pours jet black with no discernable head. The nose is mainly the alcoholic strength, but with some nuts and dark fruits. In the mouth the texture is viscous, smoky and slightly sweet. Taste is mainly dark fruits with roasted malts, alcohol, and even a hint of mouthwash ! Finish is a warming alcoholic glow, and some traces of treacle. Simply gorgeous !

Bradford Beer Festival 2020. Black-brown with an off-white head. It's heavy tasting with its alcohol content, but roasted malts are available in both aroma and taste.
