Bottle.Amber colour with small head.Aroma of herbs and spices malty and mild sweet taste more like a strong ale but not bad overall.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some wood, mild spices, some sweet caramel. Flavour is some alcohol, spices, fruity, mild wooden tones with a bunch of sweet malts to it.Somewhat bitter aftertaste. Almost Bock-like.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear mahogany colour, mid sized head. Caramelly nose with some raisin and salmiak, Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, and raisiny portwine. Peppery warming finish. Decidedly more barley wine than IIPA.

ABV: 11.5%. Bottle #00844/10000. Clear medium to dark red amber colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, fruity malt, moderate to light heavy hoppy, pine, fruity hops, old fruit, dried fruit, resin. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, hops bitter, resin - pine, dried fruit, caramel, sweet malt, rich, heavy, hop burn. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20220518]

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a slightly hazy orangey brown with an off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma with somewhat tired hops and solid booze. Rich and full body, caramel and nuts, bittering hops and warming alcohol. Basically a rich and delicious Barley Wine. 290422

Bottle @ Aarhus Bryghus. Pours hazy amber with a small tan head, sugary lacings. Aroma of malt, caramel, wood, candy sugar, light fruit, alcohol. Flavor is very sweet, malty, caramel, candy sugar, wood, dark fruit, alcohol, boozy. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, sweet light bitter finish with loads of warming alcohol.
