A light, refreshing golden ale. Hopped with only Engish admiral hops. Super sessionable and thirst quenching.

Cask-conditioned at the Rook & Gaskell, York 27/03/2023. Golden in colour with a moderately-sized white head. Citrus character, some stone fruits, light maltiness and a dryish finish. Fine.

3/3/2023. Cask at the 46th Loughborough Beer Festival. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon, hay, grapefruit, soapy edge. Moderate sweetness, fairly bitter, touch tart. Moderate body, slightly watery, soft carbonation. Increasing bitter finish. Okay.

--Cask at Nag's Head, Reading. -- Clear pale yellow. Aroma of citrus with some elderflowers. Dryish with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Tangerine and slight bread. Borderline watery. Mid bitter finish. Refreshing, but the light side.

Cask at Alehouse, Reading. Low key malty aroma. Clear light gold. A sliver of a translucent white head. Light light bitter. A touch of sweet malts. Watery flavourwise and in body. Thin. Long finish. Poor.

Cask at the Alehouse, Reading. Pale gold with a thin white head. Tastes of watery butter with a hint of lemon. Very thin. It's a bit shite but at least it's a new brewery for me and a rare Durham tick.
