The third stop on our Wish You Were Beer! road trip is...Rome. Fitting to the Eternal City, we’ve crafted an elegant beer around the alpha gladiator of the IPA underground: Columbus hops. The result is a blond bombshell of an IPA that’s got muscle and soul. Every bit as complex as Julius Caesar himself, yet pairs perfectly with a plate of pasta. A bread and circus beer for the masses. Et tu, IPA?

Draft at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light orange citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, mineral, light juicy, lemon citrus, barnyard, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Tap at BeerTemple, 7th July 22. Pours a clear beer. Aroma is candy and pine, aromatic. Taste is bright and clean, aromatic and citrus, tasty and pine notes

hazy pale yellow colour, moderate sized off-white head; aroma of grape juice and seeds, orange, pomelo, and peachy notes; bittersweet taste with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; quite good one!
