50cl from Marktkauf in Detmold. The beer in the glass looks a bit watery-yellow. Not very typical, but the head is fluffy and lasts long. The beer starts very very sweet, absolutely untypical for even an Alkoholfrei Weizen. Remembers me of the Kirner Weizen Alkoholfrei, which tastes nearly as awful as this one. The beer is grainy, Weizen-notes are only very slightly recognisable in the background. The yeast is as well not present. The aftertaste is quite long - 10% like a typical Weizen and 90% like a sweet malty mixture of something very strange... but here some bittering hops are noticeable. --> I don’t know who is able to drink even a bottle from this regularly.... - I am not! 4/8/2/3

Pale cloudy yellow with a small white head. Sweet grainy aroma with cardboard notes - bad, but not ad enough to warn me of what’s next. The flavour is terrible, sugary sweet with notes of barnyard and unfermented wort.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. An unclear, golden-orange beer with a small, off-white head soon diminished into a thin layer of bubbles. The aroma is weird, very bready and with some banana and a strange thing I can’t identify. Wet cardboard maybe, at least there’s some of that in the flavor. It’s papery, medium bodied and soapy on the palate. Overall, a rather awful drink. Stay way. 110320
