Bottle shared by a group of men in Colin’s hotel room during the Bamberg Jolly of 2014. Pours perfectly clear pale yellow. Simple but tasty, with biscuity malts, cereal, minimal bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation and creamy texture. Sweet finish with further cereal and biscuits. Good and drinkable lager.

Bamberg Jolly day 1 24/01/2014. Bottle shared in Colin’s room. Aroma is nutty praline, and lager yeast. Pale yellow pour with a lasting white head. Flavour is sweet cereal, some crisp nobel hop bitterness. Thinnish palate with medium carbonation. Some wheat flavour.

Bottle in room 104 of Fassla Bamberg aka "Colins Room" and whose carpet was besmirched by at least 3 different beer stains during this mini tasting late on day 1 of the post Xmas Bamberg jolly - 24/01/14. Clear golden with a good sized off white head. Nose is pale malts, grassy, light lemon notes, bitter orange, bready. Taste comprises straw, hint of vanilla, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. So so.

Bamberg Bash Day 1. Tasting in Colin’s room along with some quality music! Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Light crisp palate, dry. Clean pale malt with light floralness and a little dried fruits. Light dry finish. Tasty enough.

Aroma has lots of butter and some grainy malt. Flavour has also lots of butter and this actually feels a lot like Naabecker Pils. But this has some harsh, grainy malt typical to lagers that makes the difference.

Bottle. Sweet grainy malt aroma. Clear golden yellow color with large head. Sweet corn syrup malt and mildly bitter grass hops flavor - on the edge of being too sweet. So-so beer.

Bottle@Fonefan. Golden colour, mediumsized fluffy head. Leaves some lace. Aroma is grains, malts, some saltwater as well as some slight sweetish notes. Flavour is quite much the same. Not that interesting.
