Bottle at a tasting. The oak aging imparted mostly sourness, while at the same time the beer feels too sweet, sticky. Full bodied, caramelly, chocolatey, candyish. Moderate dark fruits too. Even as a base beer this must have been cloying and the barrel only pushed it further with sourness.
