Picked this up from Bayerisches Bierspezialitäten Pararadies Bienenfleiß, consumed at home Attenkirchen, Sunday 17th November 2019 whilst listening to Warmduscher - Tainted Lunch, cooking Goulash, Bread Dumplings, Potato Gratin and Brussels. Pours hazy puddle brown with an off white head. Toffeebanana combo', made me realise just how much I like this style of beer, nice little tang, soft mouthfeel, a little tiny retronasal thing going on. Lovely.

Dunkler Weizenbock mit 7,5 % Alkohol, 17,8 % Stammwürze (ein Doppelbock braucht eigentlich mind. 18 % Stammwürze - frag mich warum der Hersteller trotzdem die Bezeichnung Doppelbock wählt). Beeindruckende Optik. Absolut extreme Trübung, viel Hefe - sieht fast wie Milchkaffee aus. Der intensive Geruch erinnert an Likör (süß und alkoholig). Geschmack: sehr süß, ohne besonders malzig zu sein (erst hintenraus klingt das Malz nach). Hefig. Nicht sehr viel Frucht. Schön weich. Schwere, fast cremige Konsistenz - selten etwas ähnliches erlebt. Den hohen Alkoholgehalt schmeckt man. Stört aber nicht. Geschmacklich trifft es nicht zu 100 % meine Präferenzen, aber allein aufgrund der Optik und der Konsistenz einer meiner Top-5 Weizendoppelböcke (auch wenn dazu 0,2 % Stammwürze fehlen).

Bottle. murky brown color. Dried pineapple and citrus in the aroma. Wheaty sweet flavor with banana and hints of citrus. Easy drinker in spite of its ABV. Very nice.

Hazy brownish. Aroma is pear banana slight phenolic cinnamon and muscat and alcohol. Taste is alcohol warmth sweet nut oil malt. Heavy oily but smooth. Not bad.

Bottle at work thanks to Johannes. Murky brown with a thin white head. Big banoffee pie aromas. Some nuts. Taste is sweet, cooked mushy banana and toffee. A little boozy.

500ml Bottle - Cloudy brown in colour. Toffee, nuts and banana in the aroma. Sweetish taste with banana, raisins, peach and caramel all detected. It is like a liquified banoffee pie and all the better for it, especially when you know it is free of any flavourings.
