Bottle. Pours jet black with thin head. Nose is huge lovely coffee, pretty intense and it showcases the characteristics of the coffee thatβs in there. Taste is light roasted malts, some booze, faint chocolate, some vanilla and big coffee again: slightly acidic, even fruity, chocolatey. Closes with long lasting coffee finish, has light body and soft carbo. Love the coffee presence here both in aroma and taste and the oak is a nice touch as well, but the base beers feels too thin.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, coffee, roastyness, light chocolate, medium bitter, light coffee sourness. Full body, malty coffee bitter finish with light alcohol warming notes. Ok.

Bottle at Black Night online tasting. Dark brown with beige head. Coffee overlapped aroma and taste. Moderate warming alcohol. I have one more bottle, so I will try it again later on, let say after 2 years.

Bottle via Beermalade tasting 2/2021. Very strong coffee, basically overpowering both aroma and flavour. ABV is clearly present, imparting moderate warmth, just shy of unpleasant. Despite this, the body feels moderate, carbonation as well. Med-light malty roast. As said in the beginning, the overwhelming majority of the character is coffee-roasted though. I have to say, this is an unpleasant intensity of coffee, along with a coffee dregs impression. Any oak character is lost beneath the wood. Off-balance, becomes too boozy as it warms up. Average.
