Bottle shared with Nari and Gabor Gábor, courtesy of Cuso, thanks a lot man! Pours an elegant, deep ruby colour with an off-white head. Nose is a beautiful mix of cinnamon and blackberries with hints of wood and light funk. Tastewise it's a little less sophisticated and intense: it shows the same notes as in the aroma but not as nicely. With time it opens up tho, and the fruit-cinnamon combo and a lightly acetic, lactic sourness with hints of funk appear.

--Bottled at RBESG Grand Tasting 2023. -- Hazy reddish burgundy colour, mid sized pink head. Aroma of balsamic cherries. Mid sweet with mild cherry tartness. Balsamic cherries and mild hay. Mid bitter finish.

Ein Bier, das ich am Stand der Brauerei beim CBF 2023 gekauft habe und die große Flasche dann im extra großen Kreise bei einer Firmenfeier ausschenkte. Es ist ein Sauerbier, das mit Heidelbeeren verfeinert und dann in slowakischen Schnapsfässern gelagert wurde. Dadurch hat es in dem sauer-beerigen Körper einen deutlichen holzigen und leicht harzigen Geschmack. Positiv fiel mir auf, dass es keine schnapsigen oder öligen Aromen hatte und ein harmonisches Gesamtbild vermittelte. Bei meinen bier-unerfahrenen Kollegen kam es nicht sonderlich gut an, aber es mussten alle zugeben, dass es aufgrund seiner Spritzigkeit ein tolles Sommergetränk für den Sommer sein muss. Mir persönlich hat es aber geschmeckt.

Bottle via Beermalade. Thin body, low carbonation. Med-high sourness, seems mostly fruity, with only a bit of acetic thrown in. Fruit is enter of the character here, pretty assertive blackberry presence. Only background cinnamon for complexity, I could not pick it up myself. Same applies to the barrel character. Overall drinkable, good.

Bottle. Aroma and taste of blackberries, cinnamon, red wine, barrel wooden notes, light sweet, light to medium sour. Medium to full body, sweet and sour cinnamon and blakberries finish. Perfectly ballanced, very good.

Dark red color with minimal tan head. Aroma of blackberries, cinnamon, lot of cinnamon. Taste, light blackberries, marzipan, cinnamon, other spices. Tasty.
