Dreestikker is een bovengistend barleywine-achtig bockbier. Wij hebben het een Tripel Bok genoemd, een niet bestaande stijl, maar ja dat is bockbier toch eigenlijk al niet meer. De basis is een flinke dosis Munichmout, zoals tratripel bock- elsener bierbrouwerij pochpoaterditioneel bij een echt bockbier, dit aangevuld met melanoide-, cara- en donkeremout. Om de body niet al te moutig te maken hebben we ook nog wat cassonade suiker toegevoegd. Dit geheel hebben we laten vergisten met een mooie Engelse Ale gist welke zorgt voor een vol donker fruit aroma.

8/1/2020. Bottle from De Bierliefhebber online store. Pours very dark brown with a short lasting off-white to beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, dark chocolate, roasted malt, toffee, liquorice, touch woody/herbal/medicinal/spiced. Medium sweetness, light bitterness and a hint of tartness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Not bad, but a bit of an odd one.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roast and caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly roasty flavor with hints of licorice. Low on carbon.

Flesje gedeeld met Benzai op 16-01-2016. Donkerbruin troebel bier. Beetje karamel-achtig aroma. De smaak is iets zurig en Karamelachtig. In de nasmaak blijft de karamel hangen.

Bottle shared with dad and Inoven. Unclear dark brown color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, brown malts, leaves, tart. Weird sourness that really annoys me. Don’t like it.
