Bottle, backlog August 2014. Slightly unclear purple body under a moderate sized pale pink head. Aroma has red berries, blackcurrant, some malt and alcohol, quite mild in the nose. Taste is sweet and sour, blackcurrant, red berries, light pale malt, some bitterness and alcohol. Fine body and same aftertaste. Have some mixed feeling about this beer, the triple part is not really there and it’s a bit weird as a fruit beer itself. Not bad, but not sure how nice it is either.

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, dark ruby colour with small, forthy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Earthy fruity aroma, notes of blackcurrant, blackberry. Taste is sweet-ish, tart, earthy fruity, notes of blackcurrant, some blackberry. Slightly oily texture, smooth and soft palate, gentle, soft carbonation. A bit monotonous, somehow just blackcurrant juice, but very drinkable, refreshing - nice.

Bottle. Amber color with a purple haze. Malt and a hint of cassis in the aroma. Sweet cassis flavor, hiding the floral notes. Tannines. Lacks balance.

Caramel colour, white head. Aroma of caramel, lemonade. Sweet flavour, sweet lemonade, caramel. Sweet finish.

Süßlicher, erstaunlich flacher Antrunk. Fruchtig aber wenig aromatisch, dunkel spritzig, definitiv nicht nach Tripel. Süffig, ok. 10/11/11/8/9/9

Trübes orange braunes Bier mit einer geringen leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach reifen Kirschen, roten Beeren, sehr malzig. Geschmack sehr malzig, fruchtig süß, trocken, reife rote Früchte, alkoholisch.

Bottle. Reddish amber with beige head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is blackcurrant, alcohol, sourness, bitterness. Flavor is sweet, blackcurrant, alcohol, bitterness, malt, acidic. Overall: not my kind of beer, but not bad.

Bottled 500ml. Ruby-pinky color, small pinky head. Sweetness, cassis and light alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Cassis juice, acidic, some lactobaccillus, alcohol. Basicly black currant juice on drugs. Not much tripel here.

Bottled (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some really sour wood and lactic notes along with alcohol. Flavour is blueberries, some toffee, lactic and mild alcohol. After the first bite this is quite balanced and nice.

Draught (Uppsala Beer Festival 2015) - Purple/red in colour. Blackcurrant, raisins and some slightly musty notes in the aroma. Fruity and slightly vinous taste with blackcurrant dominating, although some notes of cherries can also be detected.
