BBD 7/2021. Bottle shared by Patrik Opity Vlk. High carbonation, med-thin body. Med-high sweetness, med-low bitterness, medium sourness. Fully malty, lots of toffee, milky chocolate. Also loads of coffee, a bit of a burnt impression. The unpleasant sourness, even reaching into astringent territory, seems to be roast malt-derived. A bit of berry fruity character, blaclberry. Average, rather hard to drink.

(Draught at U Slovanske Lipy, Prague, 25 July 2015. 8,0%) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with strong black coffee, liquorice and dried fruit. Slightly vinous. Malty, roasted taste with notes of sweet espresso, liquorice, dark chocolate, treacle, roasted malt and a gentle roasty bitterness. Almost full body, quite sweet. Tasty and well made, leaning in the Baltic porter direction. Nice one.
