Bottled (from Alko). Deep amber colour with a mediumsized beige foamy head. Aroma is sweet caramel malts, toffee, plum, some figs and mild floral and grassy tones. Flavour is sweet plum, mild figs, some herbal and alcohol tones as well. Mild spiciness is in there too as it warms up a bit.

Bottle from Hermod, thanks! Dark amber color. Malt, toffee, plums and soft grassy notes in the aroma. Malty sweet vinous flavor with caramel, figs, grassy hops. Some warming alcohol. Raisin. Well done.

Kuparinruskea, melko niukasti vaahtoava kirkas olut. Vaahto katoaa pikaisesti kokonaan. Tuoksu ensituntumalta melko viinimäinen ja hapan. Sen jälkeen mukaan tulee makeampaa maltaisuutta, luumua ja mausteisuutta. Maku maltainen, vahvan kuivahedelmäisen mausteinen ja alkoholinen. Lisäksi katkeran suuntaan aavistuksen kallellaan oleva humalointi on mennyt ehkä vähän överiksi tässä tapauksessa. Suutuntuma keskitäyteläinen. Melko erikoinen kokonaisuus, jossa on mielenkiintoisia elementtejä, mutta joka jää lopulta turhan erikoiseksi alkoholisen mausteisen kuivahedelmäiseksi ja turhan humaloiduksi sekasikiöksi.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - erä #645/647 - BB 1.4.2016, from Alko, 20150410) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was malts, sourness and berries. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sourness, malts, berries, sweetness, acridness and bitter. Aftertaste was unclean and bitter. I don’t know what this beer was intended to be but the end result was a bad beer.

Dark ruby color, small off-white head. Aroma has brown sugar, prunes, cellar and spices. Medium-bodied. Prunes, brown sugar, yeast in the flavor. Fortunately not those cellar/earthy tones as in the nose. Yes, Belgian, but I’m not convinced. Earlier version was more in balance and "cleaner".

Aroma is sour with vinegar and woody tones. Also sour cherry juice. Flavour has sour juicy tones, vinegar, some semi-tart cherries and cranberries – and sourish berry juice. Like a mild sour red.

Pours dark reddish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of caramely malts, sweet toffee, syrup, ripe fruits, hints of berries and yeast. Taste is sweetish, malty and caramely with hints of berries and yeast. Finish is sweet, malty and a bit yeasty with some caramely notes. Okay, a bit too sweet for my taste.
