Draught at the brewpub.
Golden, moderate hazy body, with a medium, creamy, white head.
Quite light aroma of honey, spices, herbs.
Tastes of honey, spices, bread, dried fruits, herbs, slight citrus.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes spicy, medium bitter and bready.

Nice, but nothing special. Apart from some spices, a pretty average Heller Bock. Quite quaffable though.

Tap at the brewery. Aroma honeyish, liquorice - fennel. Hazy golden colour. Taste is nicely balanced, rather sweet, honeyish, spicy and fennel, finishes lightly hoppy. Spicy finish. Moreish. Very good.

Tap at brewpub. Hazy orange golden color with medium white head. Yeasty, malty aroma with some spices (fennel?). Taste, malt, honey, bee wax, coriander, fennel. Good.
