500 ml bottle. Copper color with good white foam. Aroma: hops, malt, fruits. Taste: watery, crystal malt, some fruits and hops. Nothing special.

500ml bottle. Coppery amber colour with a beige foam head and malty fruity aroma. Taste is malt with some caramel and tangy grassy bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle picked up from Morrison’s Minehead. Reddy copper coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is nice nutty grains, light resin, red berry, background citrus. Flavour is nutty light toasted malts, amber, brown sugar, bacon notes, resinous hop. . decent balance. Palate is moderate carbonation, medium body, mineral. Little chewy.

Bottle @ Home. Pours amber with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, light caramel, little nut, light fruity hops. Flavor is light malty, caramel, fruit, little bitter. Medium body, average carbonation. 260516

From bottle. Clear nutty brown. Beige head and lacing. Soft aroma of caramel and dark crystal malt. Balanced taste of caramel, sweet malt and fine hops. Low bitterness. Round mouthfeel. Very quaffable.

Bottle @ home. Clear dark amber color, medium sized beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, quite some caramel, lightly buttery. Taste malts, caramel, figs, hazelnuts, light to moderately bitter. Average body and carbonation. Ok beer.

28/II/15 - 50cl bottle from a trade or something? I totally forgot... @ home - BB: 28/II/15 (bang on time!) (2015-243)

Clear reddish amber beer, big creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, bit sweet, caramel, peaches, malty. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: caramel, nutty start, little bitter, pretty fruity, hoppy touch. Aftertaste: some caramel, citrus, malty, some toast, pretty bitter, fruity, some peaches, very nice.

500ml bottle from Morrisons, Preston. Pours clear amber, short-lived off-white head. Basically just another slightly fruity, slightly nutty, but ultimately thin and disappointing British supermarket beer. The best thing that could be said is that it’s likely consistent. Not that I’ll be buying any more.

Bouteille: Hazy, amber coloured, stable creamy off-white head; mild to moderate spicy-hoppy and fruity-malty nose, almost traces of raisins detectable; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied; lingering fruity-hoppy finish with a bitter aftertaste. A bit thin, but still good…
