Kettle soured wheat using Newfoundland Sea Salt from Newfoundland Salt Company and a lactobacillus souring blend from Escarpment Laboratories . We added a pound of this sea salt harvested from from the waters of Newfoundland, giving this version of the Gose a finish that reminds us of the ocean spray misting you on a summer day. The lactobacillus was used to kettle sour this beer over a 48 hour period, giving a nice lemon-like tartness. We left the coriander out as we wanted to let that beautiful Newfoundland Salt shine!

6/10/2023. Taster at Ulfborg courtesy of saxo. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a small bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma is malty, salty, apple, citrus, tropical fruits. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness and tartness. Moderate body, slightly watery, average carbonation.

ABV: 4.1%. Clear light to medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, fruity malt, citrus, fruity citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, citrus, fruity citrus, wheat, minerals, light salty touch, light fruit - citrus tart. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good suration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are citrus, salt, lactose acid, malt and has a light sour finish.

Lots of bubbliness on a clear lighter gold body, but next to no foam. Smells of good floral hoppiness, slight salt. Taste is nicely tart and salty, soft floral hops ending dry, tangy. It's straight ahead but well executed.
