28/7/2023. Cask at the 33rd Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival. Pours hazy dark straw gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, straw, orange, damp grass, slightly musty and a bit wet dog. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, touch of tart. Medium body, soft carbonation. Nice citrus bitterness to finish. Tasted much better than the aroma.

Cask gravity at Hovelling Boat Ramsgate. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Fruity aroma. Grapefruit and apricot in the mouth. Good bitterness on the finish. Malts just about enough to carry the alcohol and hop. I thought pretty good. Attractive enough.
