Appearance - 9 | Aroma - 8.5 | Flavor - 8.5 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8
Pours a fairly clear pale blonde. Small white head. Scent is intense, refined citra aroma, with a mild dankness to it. earthy almost. Not what I expected from a pure citra hop. Taste is quite refreshing ! Bitter, citrus, danky and a touch woody, even some stonefruit. Far more complex hoparoma's than usually for a citra single hop. Lovely intensity of bitterness too ! In perfect balance, as always with Alchemist.
