Midgard is a complex, traditional mead made with three types of honey: Norwegian heather honey, Spanish chestnut honey and Ethiopian mountain honey. It pairs well with desserts, cheese platters and cured meat.

Smaker: Fyldig og flott kropp. Herlig sødme, nydelig spill mellom de forskjellige honningene. Her er det mye floralt, krydder, nøtter, barnål og sitrus. Endel eucalyptus fra det florale og noe som kan minne om søtlige barnål-pastiller.

Bottle. A clear one, golden in color, quite oily, with a honey driven aroma, little less going on. Quite spiced, with a berry touch. It’s sweet on the palate, yet sort of dryish. Quite alcohol warming. Honey driven flavor too, with some apple juice hints, a spiced note and some berries. Heather. Lasting finish. A rather intense one, too one-dimensional honey-ish. 211231
