33 cl can. Solid ginger and estery herbal. Basil, ginger and estery. Lasting basil note. Spiced and herbal into the far finish. Subdued sweetness.

Can. Cloudy pale yellow with a decent white head. Aroma of ginger and citrus fruits. Taste of ginger, wheat, basil, cardamom, zest, yeast and spice. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Ok for what it is I guess but it’s nothing I’d want again.

Hazy bright yellow in the glass with a 2cm persistent head. Unusual nose as the label may have hinted at. Bready and herbs: basil is immediately obvious but also rosemary, not much detectable Ginger. Immediate hit of basil in the mouth: here the ginger is detectable with a slightly warming finish. The bitterness combined with the basil sticks to the inside of the mouth. Not that enjoyable, could do with a bit more sweetness or more counterbalancing fruity hops or something.

Smooth mild beginning. Easy to drink, soft dry, intense witbier-aroma. Herbal back, great dry witbier with basil, lime and coriander. Refreshing dry, nice balanced with essential herbal oils on the tongue. Great. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pilot #18 Basilikum Ingwer Witbier on 02 Feb 2023 at 22:50 - Score: 7. Kräutriger, überraschend herber Beginn. Milde Süße, trockener Hintergrund, Basilikum, spritzig. Die Bitterkeit bleibt intensiv, leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung. Süffig, moderat hopfig, langer Abgang. Interessant! 10/8/9/11/9/10

Canned 330ml. -from BrewDog Frankfurt. Hazy yellow/orange coloured, medium sized white head, ginger in the nose. Ginger, light basil, light spicy and mild fruity with short dryish finish. Interesting and even pleasant in a way.
