Can. Color: Hazy pinkish orange (like grapefruit), thin pinkish off-white heead. Aroma: Tart, fruity raspberry, light hints of smoke. Taste: Malty, smoke notes, over moderate tart, subtle fruity raspberry, lime and hints of pear. Under medium, quite thin body as a Lichtenhainer has to be. Average carbonation. Nice and very refreshing on this hot summer day. Exactly what it promised to be on the label: Lichtenhainer with pear and raspberry. Very well balanced. Not too tart and just enough raspberry to not be overwhelming and give space to all other flavours.

On tap at Frisches Bier. A almost clear pale orange golden beer, no head. Aroma of peach, sour fruits. Taste of sour peach, apricot, lime, smoke malt. Interesting.
