Pours a black body and a dense light brown head with fair retention. Aroma's: very sweet, milk chocolate, cocoa powder, perhaps a hint of chili fruitiness. More of the latter retronasal, with the sweetness subdued, and some roast. Flavour is above moderate sweet, but not as cloying as I expected from the smell, with light chili fruit, some roast, light bitter. Medium to full body. Light pepper heat. Long finish with quite some roast and moderate bitterness.

Can at home from CW online. A jet black brown coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is peanut butter, cocoa, nutty, some alcohol, waxy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, bitter dark choclate, nutty, some peanut butter, light spicy chilli, woody bark. Palate is medium sweet, rounded, oily, moderate carbonation. Good stuff.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingman, 11/02/23. Black with a good sized tan coverinf. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, cacao nibs, light spice, molasses. Taste comprises chocolate cake, light spice, roast malts, molasses, toffee, dried fruit rinds, chocolate cookies, hint of green pepper. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light flicker of alcohol. Okay impy stout but perhaps a little stuck between 3rd and 4th gear and not really delivering much in the way of the advertised chilis ... maybe a good thing!?!

330ml can. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, ochre-ish, tan head. Sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, some dark caramel, a touch of liquorice, whiffs of vanilla, hundreds and thousands, cinnamon; a slowly increasing peppery spiciness tingles the nasal mucosa. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel and chocolately, dark malty, spicy, notes of dark caramel, dark chocolate, some vanilla, a touch of hundreds and thousands, subtle sweetness, subtle roastiness, hints of chili with increasing peppery spiciness and light smokiness. Creamy to viscous texture, smooth and soft, silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, soft carbonation. Well crafted, well balanced; I'd have liked some cinnamon as extra adjunct - meaty.
