330ml bottle. Hazy, dark amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and somehow dull, fruity, hoppy aroma, rather unspecific fruitiness, hints of coconut (Sorachi?), whiffs of cherry. Taste is sweet, caramel malty, minimally buttery, slightly fruity hoppy, hints of preserved fruit. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, soft and cloying palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Sweet, slimy, slightly insipid - ignoble.

Weiter Kokos, mittellanger Abgang. Nett. 10/8/9/8//9

0.33 l bottle from 'Craft Bier Bude', best before March 2023. Hazy, brownish amber with a thin, foamy, quickly collapsing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity, resiny and a little roasty aroma of caramel, mango, pine and, well, toasted coconut. Gently sweet, quite malty, moderately bitter, fairly resiny, gently fruity taste of caramel, mango, toasted coconut, pine, some grapefruit and hints of chocolate, followed by a short, gently bitter, quite resiny, slightly roasty finish. Medium to full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very interesting, actually quite tasty beer, would probably fit better in the IPA - Flavored category, I guess.
