Canned 500ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Slightly hazy yellow coloured, medium sized white head, soapy fruity nose. Bitter herbal and grassy taste with notes of yeast, touch of fruits and dusty bitter finish.

Ich mag diese Bier-Serie sehr, da man immer neue interessante und leider gefährdete Arten kennenlernt. Der Napoleon-Lippfisch (Cheilinus undulatus) aus dem tropischen Indopazifik war mir bislang unbekannt. Bedroht ist er durch die Zerstörung seines Lebensraums als auch, dass er als Speisefisch recht beliebt ist. Mit den Bierstil des Cold IPA fange ich nicht viel an. Es ist ziemlich bitter und hopfig und ein bisschen hat es den Geschmack von Gletschereis-Bonbons. Wirklich interessant finde ich den grasig-würzigen Abgang. Kann man gerne mal probieren.

A can shared with Glava in Ljubljana. Clear pale golden, small white head. Herbal hops, light malts. Some wild herbs or onion. Nice bitter and herbal profile, slightly sharp. Grainy. Dry finish. A bit bland.

Can, 0.50l. Aroma of herbs, weed, passion fruit and cereals. Pours clear pale golden color with large soapy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts light to medium sweet grainy and herbal, following is faint fruity and medicinal, mouthfeel is dry, while finish is heavy bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Hoppy cold play…

Can via Bombovar. Thin body, medium carbonation. Med-high bitterness, light zestiness, low sweetness. Malt in the background, hops centered, grassy, citrusy, lemony. Quite easy drinking, focused on quaffability. Very good.

Can. Crystal clear golden, larger and ok lasting white head. Pretty fresh grassy and herbal nose, some fruits in teh back, mostly citruses. Solid bitteness, very herbal and grassy, dry finish. Gentle aftertaste. Light body. A bit too sharp for me.
