Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is toasted, some biscuits, mild herbal and earthy tones along with some nutty elements. Flavour is roasted, toasted, some nutty and mild toffee tones. Smooth, and leaves a nice smoked wet wooden and toasted aftertaste.

Flaska från bolaget. Backlog. Svart med livlig beige krona. Den väldigt spritsiga kolsyran tillsammans med en lätt syrlig ton väcker en del misstankar. I botten fina porter-toner med mycket toffee osv, men skyms tyvärr av annat.

Appearance: Dark brwon colour with a tan head.
Aroma: Roasted malt, liquorice, chocolate, coffee, some dried fruit, bread.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Roasted malt, liquorice, chocolate, coffee, some dried fruit.

Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter havre, søt lakris og sjokolade. Middels fylde. Smaker Søt lakris, solbær, noe bitter sjokolade og havre. Middels lang.

Bottle from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. (my first one from this brewery) A bit gushing black with a large tan head. Licorice, chocolate, dark bread and hints of dried fruit. The finish on the dry side.

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Slight slow gushing. Black, rich lively head. Conccentrated aroma of licorice, earth and tar. Mid dry with medium to full body and rouded, somewhat spritzy mouthfeel. Leather, coffee and earth. Licorice, dark chocolate and tar. Long bitter finish. Really solid old school Baltic porter. Only the bottle conditioning needs a bit of tuning
