Mimir is the wisest of the Aesir gods. He was beheaded by the Vanir tribe. Oden placed his head on a branch of Yggdrasil where it continued to provide advice and counsel. Oden even sacrificed an eye to Mimir to take a drink from his well.
Mimir is a copper coloured, medium bodied English ale with some malt sweetness, a little caramel and fruity character.
Pairs great with roast chicken, fish & chips and cheddar cheese.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Slightly hazy amber colour with a mediumsized off-white foamy head. Aroma is floral, caramelly with some mild toffee and nectary tones. Flavour is floral, fruity, some toffee tones with mild spiciness.

Grumlad bärnstensfärgad vätska med fingertjock skumlock. Aromer av lite våt säd och karamell och kola. Lätt maltig kropp och något kladdig i sötman. Ren neutral beska inte direkt revolutionerande.

Can from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. A bit hazy dark golden/amber with a medium head. Dried fruit, bread, hay and some biscuits. Relaxed and easy to drink.

Orange klar med beige skum. Lukter karamell og lys sirup. Maltig lett bitter. Lett. Smaker noe brent karamell noe anis og sitrusskall. Middels lang.

--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Almost clear amber, mid sized head. Aroma of dried fruit and hay. Dry with light body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Crisp bread, dried fruit hay and leafs. Long bitter finish. Beautifully crafted. Would love to see Keane stepping in to full the void in Swedish top quality cask ales caused by the retirement of Skebo.

440ml Can - Dark amber/copper. Earthy aroma with notes of dried fruit and caramel. Slightly fruity taste with notes of apricot, biscuity malt, marmalade and a moderate earthy bitterness.
