Kräftig dunkelbraun mit zartem Karamellgeschmack. Weich im Trunk mit angenehm stolzem Dunkelmalzcharakter, wunderbar vollmundig. Unser Dunkles wird seit über 400 Jahren nach alter Überlieferung gebraut. Das Bier aus der Guten Alten Zeit.

Bottle @ Bratkartoffel Gräfin Ruhpolding. Brown color. caramel, plums and licorice in the malty sweet flavor. Fluid bread with a restricted aroma.

Ein klassischen deutsches Dunkles mit hoher Malzsüße. Dahruch wirkt es zwar recht harmonisch vollmundig, aber großen Aromenreichtum wird man nicht finden.

In tap at auracher lochl pours out a dark copper color topped with a sand head. Nose is Rich roast malts some spice and a little toast and coffee. Tastes is more of the roast malts a little chocolate sweetness some toffee and a nice light spikes.

Draft at Bier Haus Constanța, Romania. Pretty big on caramel and burnt sugar. Assertive caramel malts, sweet dark caramel. Minimal bitterness. Good, maybe too malty.

At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2016. Reddish/brown with a medium head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, bread, some hay and caramel. On the thin side but drinkable.

On tap at the brewpub. Leicht trübes orange goldenes Bier mit einer ordentlichen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch nach Karamell, leicht röstmalzig. Geschmack leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, schwach hopfig, insgesamt schwach aber gut trinkbar. Earlier Rating: 1/29/2014 Total Score: 3Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlich-braunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell. Geschmack angenehm röstmalzig, würzig, trocken.

On tap at Flieger Bräu. Slightly hazy brown colour, beige head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, toast, chocolate, peas, quite sweet. Flavour of roasted malts, burnt caramel, chocolate, dark fruits, light-bitter finish. Light-bodied. Ok stuff.
