Dedicated to Brendan Moore our mentor from Ballydougan, Portadown, County Down, Northern Ireland. Stow Fen Moiled Irish Stout is brewed using five malts and two hops. The roast shines through with acidic sourness. A bittersweet chocolate with a moderate to high hop bitterness. And a Coffee like taste to finish.

15/6/2024. Bottle bought at the brewery. Shared at Malilla GP. Pours close to black with a small frothy beige head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, cocoa, dark fruits. Moderate sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, drying berry finish. Foamy carbonation. Best of today’s Stow Fen beers.
