Third of a pint on cask at the Queen. Medium creamy beige head. Clear almost black pour. Light pistachio and chocolate. Very smooth.

Pours a deep mahogany with a tinge of red to it, and a frothy tan head. The nose is primarily vanilla with hints of coffee, there's a lovely sweet, nutty taste to it on top of a nice mild coffee backbone, with some fruit malt sitting underneath it all and lasting into the finish, along with some dry bitterness. Very decent creamy porter. (Prince of Wales, Shrewsbury)

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Deep chestnut brown. Decent cap of thin, dense, pale tan foam. Nose has pistachio ice cream. Some tart fruit. Cooking chocolate. Taste carries similar, with ice cream sweetness, and a tart, fruity bitterness. Light to medium body. Medium to high carbonation. Pretty tangy fruity bitterness to finish. A little odd, overall. Pretty artificial too.
