A full-bodied coffee stout with generous additions of locally sourced ground coffee from St Martins Coffee Roasters. Liquorice flavours and a full mouthfeel. Columbus hops give its damson fruit and bitter finish.

330ml bottle from Offie bottle shop. A diminishing fawn-coloured head, spotty lacing, black in the glass. Promising smell of coffee grounds, roasted. Malt-driven flavours of grainy chocolate, earth, and a backdrop of coffee. Roasted bitterness to the finish. Fine depth. Like it. (Hotel room, Leicester 11.07.2022).

330ml bottle bought from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Very dark brown, only a sliver of translucency and almost no head. Coffee, papery notes, roasted malts in the aroma. Tastes sweet, more coffee, a little bit of cigarette ash. Little bit of chocolate notes in the bitter finish. Light carbonation. Hmm. Maybe a bit oxidised? It's drinkable enough despite issues.
