Bottle. dark amber color. Malty bready aroma and flavor with a hint of grass. Medium bodied. Sticky mouthfeel. Fairly well balanced and surprisingly tasty landbier.

Old rating from a no more active german platform: "Die kleinen Gnubbelflaschen mag ich ja nicht so unbedingt. Überraschend dunkel im Glas. Feine, leicht getönte Blume. Getreidig malzig in der Nase. Leicht malzig und würzig im Antrunk, ein wenig metallisch im Verlauf. Unterdurchschnittliche Herbe, Anklänge von Honig im Hintergrund. Ganz gut zu trinken. Biertest vom 20.2.2013, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,11,10,8,11 - 10,80". Not far away from the current new recipe.

330ml bottle. Clear chestnut colour with average to huge, forthy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Aroma has a spicy, yeasty touch of hay, bready, grainy caramel background. Taste is minimally sweet caramel malty, slightly bready, dry grassy hoppy overtones. Redundant expansion of Herforder’s portfolio.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, dark amber to brown colour with a mid-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Slightly doughy and nutty cara-malty aroma with a tinge of metal. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly toasted malty taste with caramel, nutty notes and a herbal hoppy touch; rather dry and moderately hop bitter finish. Bottle, Light brown, fine carbonation, creamy offwhite head. Light grain and roast, a hint minerals and grassy hops to balance. Roasted malt aftertaste, grassy retronasal. Wellbalanced and drinkable, but also strangely anonymous.

bottle, donated by pivnizub! Clear chestnut colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty base, quite dry, with a touch of roasetd malt and quite some amount of bitter hops towards the finish.

Cloudy amber colour with a nice white head. Aroma of grain, corn and malt. Flavour of malt, little hoppy and tart at the end.
