"Märzen", als "Craftbeer" und "limited edition created by Göller" bezeichnet und daher vielleicht nicht das gleiche Bier wie das hier vorgefundene Märzen; andererseits paßt es zeitlich (auch wenn der unzeitgemäße Begriff "Fastenbier" jetzt fehlt). - Tief goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase angenehmes, fein karamelliges Malz und schön hopfenwürzige, ganz leicht Craftbier-artig angehauchte Hopfung mit gediegener wenngleich verhaltener Zitrusfrucht. - Antrunk sauber getreidig hellmalzig mit einer Andeutung von Karamel, sehr dezenter Süße und milder doch solider fränkischer Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang nicht zu knappe Herbe. - Sehr solides Märzen mit einem Hauch von Craftbier.

Swing top bottle. Blonde. Malty, bready aroma with a hint of chalk. Full bodied. Maltflavor, bready with some soft grassy notes.

*Old rating. Best before 15.01.04. Rated as "Freyungs Märzen". Schön rundes, eicht herbes Märzen. Leicht getreidige Züge, Malz, weich. Moderate Herbe, sehr süffig. Lecker.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein orange goldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, würzig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack malzig fruchtig, getreidig, leichte Bitterkeit.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top. [ As Göller Märzen Bier ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121110]

Bottle. As Märzen Bier. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma has some notes of cooked rice, as well as fruityness and pale malts. It’s quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Pale malts, fruityness, grass and hay in the flavor, some bitterness towards the end. Well, it’s sure drinkable, but it’s also far from impressive. Goes down easily though. 121110
