Expanding Worlds is inspired by curiosity, and the excitement implicit in spreading your wings and setting off on an adventure. This blend combines vanilla beans from Uganda, Ecuador, and Tahiti and coffee beans from Vietnam. These ingredients from distant corners converge into an expresso-soaked marshmallow floating upon a deep and layered pool of bourbon barrel aged stout. The result is a decadent experience that reflects the ever- expanding world that we all encounter and explore every day.

500ml @ Ryan's. Appearance: very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: coffee and green peppers, some American oak, charred barrel. and chocolate. Taste: along the same lines, nice body, a lot of chocolate and coffee, American oak. Overall: nice one, despite the green pepper notes.

Woo, this is one tasty beverage! Great thickness, smooth and rich. Roasty coffee, countered by sweet vanilla, lots of chocolate from the base beer, all balanced damn well. Barrel adds more layers, smoothness and yummyness. Maybe a tad too sweet.

Black colour, thin collar. The aroma is a bit earthy, coffee, green peppers. Medium body, moderately sweet; mostly cacao, a bit dusty, it shows therefore some green pepper. Not impressive.

Black colour. Dark chocolate flavour, full bodied, with notes of cacao, vanilla, and ice cream. Excellent.

Re-rate: Poured from 500mL bottle. Near black with minimal beige head. Aroma has lots of coffee and green pepper. Taste of mild vanilla, some coffee, feint tobacco, unfortunately didn't age too well. Mar 20, 2022 (9/4/9/4/18=4.4): Poured from 1 pint .9 fl oz bottle at Black Xmas. Black with no head. Nice barrel notes, oak, chocolate, vanilla. Really nice, well balanced.
