What started off as a taproom experiment with Sabro and Vic Secret hops quickly became one of our most popular beers thanks to its pillowy mouthfeel, haze and tropical notes. Its name is a nod to our Katoomba brewery’s former life as a Civic Video store, and while we may no longer be rewinding videos, its sentiment of paying forward a kind gesture to a stranger is as timeless as this New England IPA.

Aromas of pineapple, mango, orange peel and some minty pine right at the finish. A creamy mouthfeel with nice flavours that's compromised by a slight astringency and a shortness of length. Almost a classic.

Can, packed mid May. Opaque brownish orange with an inch of fluffy white head that never disappears. Aroma of blood orange, apricot, pineapple, some mango. Moderately sweet with fruit sitting on malt that's creamy rather than vague. The hop blend is mostly tropical but there's enough citrus to give it structure and sharpen it as it gets to the very modestly bitter finish. After a long time the pineapple seems slightly astringent. There are so many OKish hazies but when a really good one comes along you see what all the fuss is about. I think I got this at Vintage Cellars(!).

From a 500ml can on 8/12/2020. Pours a murky medium golfen with a medium head. Has a decent tropical/fruit salad nose. Tastes of pineapple, passionfruit, guava and lime with a reasonably firm zesty,s picy grapefruit bitterness countering the sweet fruit. The mouthfeel is thick, the carbonation average. Very nice, but perhaps just shaded by the Dreamatorium and MSG Oat Creams I had in recent days.
