Pici, gyorsan eltűnő barna hab, fekete szín. Kávés, kakaós, édesgyökeres, enyhén málnás illat. Édes, kávés, csokis, édesgyökeres, kissé málnás, erősen alkoholos íz. Testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Sajnos nagyon alkoholos.

Bottle (and another one I forgot where I picked it up), had this sat upstairs listening to Fabio & Grooverider on 6Music, Saturday 18th January 2024, we had Homemade Turkish Kebabs with a nice Rice that Loz made and Turkish Flatbreads. Btw tbf we wasn't listening to Fabio & Grooverider when I started this beer, we both drifted off to sleep, then I woke up and carried on drinking it :-). Pours black with next to no head detected, raspberry on the nose with roasted malts and dark molasses, initially I thought cherries but the bothered to read this description and yes definitely raspberries. These all come through in the mouth, nice soft mouthfeel, good tanginess, some dark chocolate a little coffee, but always the raspberries poking through. Very good.

Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet met duidelijk iets van port, wat chocolade, vanille en fruit. Helaas de framboos niet terg kunnen vinden in de smaak.

Bottle from AH XL supermarket. Color: Black, thin brown head. Aroma: Raspberry, vinuous, roasted malt. Taste: Mix of raspberry, roasted malt, fruity Sherry, vinuous / Port notes and some coffee. Boozy, warming mouthfeel. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Long lasting finish. Maybe sound good, but it's unbalanced. Too many different flavors that don't blend together in this case. Ok overall but a bit disappointing for a Cellar Series.

Black with thin head. Both the raspberry and liquorice are there but neither are dominant. It's enhanced by the woody nature of the barrels and dried fruit sweetness of the Port. Good. Rich and warming.

Bottle. Unclear, dark brown to black in the glass, with a minimal sized beige head. Rather oily. The aroma has notes of licorice and raspberry, it's quite vinous, almost spiced, with some chocolate and coffee as well as roasted malts and a burnt hint. It's full-bodied, warming and softly carbonated, vinous, with mostly malty flavors. Roasted malts, alcohol, toffee, dark chocolate, some oak and wine. Raspberry and licorice too, but less than in the aroma. Medium length finish, with the vinous parts lasting for a good while. 240323

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours black, with very fine light brown foam, very stable. Aroma is rich, with molasses, vanilla, licorice, nutty. Body is thick and sticky, smooth, with soft carbonation. Taste is rather intense, with lots of sweetness, some burnt character. Nice alcoholic feeling as well, proportionate to the body and character of the beer. Final is long, warm, dense, sweet. Overall, a wonderful beer.
